There was the telltale reek of smoke and gunpowder in the air, tendrils of smoke trailing from the singed blonde mess that was Junkrat's hair. His pegleg clacked on the baked earth, the demolitionist cracking the crazed grin that had been the last sight of many Omnics. "Ain't a bad city, but methinks it's lacking something...."
There was a clinking of chains as Roadhog toyed with his hook in one hand. His immense frame gave him an unmistakable silhouette in the desert's waning sunlight, the hulking man's face unreadable behind the black gasmask that thousands had learnt to fear. Rather then a low growl though, Roadhog's gravelly voice uttered a single phrase. "Needs more dead omnics."
Junkrat smiled savagely as he readied his grenade launcher. "Couldn't agree more mate."
What sounded like breaking bones crawled out of Roadhog's throat as he chuckled darkly.
The unspoiled omnic metropolis glinted in the sunlight, the Junkers savoring the last sight of the city as it was before they entered it. The sand and dirt crunched underneath their boots, each step bringing the city's end closer and closer. For some, the art of destroying cities was a great way to loot it for anything of value, others leveled towns to break morale while some had been destroyed from within by the sins and strife that clogged its veins.
But for the destructive duo that neared, it would fall for the simple joy of wrecking havoc.
